Rebecca’s Birthday Party

We had such a good time with friends and family celebrating Rebecca’s 6th birthday. Thank you to everyone, family, and friends for coming to the party and spending the afternoon with us, we had such a blast and we are still talking about it.

Our little girl is 6 years old today . . . wow, it seemed like it was yesterday when she was born. Six years later she still makes us laugh and melt especially her daddy’s heart.

On The 3rd Day Of Christmas My True Love Gave To Me . . .

. . . three Playmobil for the three girls . . .

Rebecca was so happy when she unwrapped one of her gifts and it was a Playmobil, a big hit this year at our house.

Rebecca got the Family Camper. It has storage for bicycles, camping chairs, forks, spoons, cast iron pans . . . and my favorite, cell phone. Even a cell phone cradle in the dashboard.

The German ingenuity . . . incredibly awesome!

Today’s Activity - Getting Buried

I’m always amazed with children how they can entertain themselves very inexpensively and still have fun. For those of you who have children, you know what I’m talking about! They can play and play, for example with an empty diaper box and turn it into a boat or a car. Or this picture, Rebecca was getting buried by every Lego and block pieces. They all took turns to get buried, and of course at the end our living room was full of Lego pieces and blocks which the living room was cleaned by the time I get home.

The Birthday Cake!

We had a quiet birthday party for Rebecca, we just had Michael’s parents over for dinner and had a birthday cake that the girls helped made and decorated, and it is a gluten-free cake. It was delicious I must say and the girls love it too!

Today is Rebecca’s 5th birthday! I just can’t believe our little girl is 5 years old already. What can I say about her, she is funny, she makes you laugh, she likes to giggle, she likes to dance, she likes to sing, she can sit on the couch for hours and flip through books . . . and she is growing so fast!

Today marks the anniversary of one of the saddest days in our nation’s history. 36 years ago the Supreme Court ruled in Roe v. Wade that women have the constitutional right to end the lives of their unborn children. This was a victory for abortion extremists and other enemies of life. Let’s pray that the end of abortion will end soon – God Help Us!

Rebecca received a great Christmas gift from her godparents, Monica and Marius; "Therese and Her Family Paper Dolls". They were busy the rest of the day cutting the paper dolls, dressing them up, lining them up and listening to the story of St. Therese and her family.
